Taste the Terroir

Taste the difference between 2014 Sauvignon Blanc from various areas – fresh from the tanks with La Motte Cellarmaster Edmund Terblanche. Hear his thoughts about the importance of terroir when it comes to Sauvignon Blanc and discover the ageing potential of this variety in a tasting of international examples of older vintage Sauvignon Blancs.

Old Cape Furniture – studies in styles

Acclaimed expert in South African culture and history Prof. Matilda Burden will discuss her eagerly anticipated and recently released book, Old Cape furniture – studies in styles, with references to inscriptions on furniture, illustrated by an exhibition of Old Cape Furniture in the La Motte Museum.
