Feasting in Franschhoek

Spring in Franschhoek is something spectacular. Sunny skies, the bright green of oak trees and vines, the splendour of fynbos against the mountain slopes... It is hard not to be caught-up in all the sights and smells.

This year, the beauty of the new season has served as exceptional culinary inspiration to a few local chefs who have decided to collaborate in a quartet of culinary creations, called The Four Coursemen. Celebrating exceptional food and wine are Pierneef à La Motte Chef Michelle Theron, Eric Bulpitt (Faber), Chris Erasmus (Foliage) and Arno Janse van Rensburg (The Kitchen at Maison Estate).

Joining the forces of their culinary acclaim, the chefs promise guests cuisine of the highest caliber and the cream of Cape wine. While the particular chef will host the meal at his/her own restaurant, each dining event will include a signature dish of each individual chef.

The cost of R720 per person includes canapés, a four-course menu, wine and gratuity. Seating is limited and reservations are essential.
