Hein’s Letter

La Motte enjoys sharing its commitment to environmental sustenance and sustainable farming and this is the ideal time to introduce 2012 La Motte Pierneef Sauvignon Blanc (Organically Grown), the Pierneef à La Motte Spring Menu, with a host of fresh ingredients from our organic vegetable and herb garden, and the reopening of the La Motte Hiking Trail.

Also, not forgetting our heritage, we participate in the cultural exchange initiative between France and South Africa with an exciting programme for the Plaisir de France celebrations.

Spring brings with it a certain freshness and energy and at La Motte the new bright green leaves on the oak trees create an eager anticipation of lazy afternoons with refreshing glasses of Sauvignon Blanc or balmy evenings with dinner on the stoep.
