During the coming months we will be hosting a series of talks, starting on Thursday, 28 February.

The first talk will be presented by acclaimed expert on South African Culture and History, Prof Matilda Burden. Following on her previous talk on the relevance of Cape Dutch Architecture, this time she will focus on the building materials used in Old Cape homesteads, with special reference to the making of lime, lime-burning and the exceptional qualities of Cape lime.
