Festive Recipe: Christmas Wreath Bread

Pagan cultures regarded the wreath as a symbol of rebirth after winter and used it as a symbol of importance and success to be worn on the heads of victorious athletes in the ancient Olympic Games or as crowns by Roman leaders.

In modern times, however, the wreath is used as a Christmas decoration and symbolises eternal life.

The Pierneef à La Motte team shared a recipe for a beautiful wreath bread with Crush! magazine. Not only will this special bread be a beautiful centerpiece on your festive table, but with its Christmas flavours of nuts, dried fruit, cranberries and spice, it will bring that extra bit of cheer to the table!
